I think I'm beginning to learn how colors work, but this is really only the beginning. I have a long way to go.

Still, I consider this a huge improvement compared to my earlier attempts at blending colors (you can see those at my site. Painted in Photoshop 7.0.

I love that feather in the foreground, adding in combination with your signature a (more) poetic feeling to the picture.

Phryneas: Thanks for the comment. I like that big feather too, but mainly for the colors -- I like the subtle blending of lavenders and oranges. hmm, I'm not sure about the reflection being correct either. XD;; maybe the entire pic is tilted, and the girl is running lopsided? Lame but hey, possible!

Nice concept and colors. Very dream-like.
I think the reflections need the most work. The bird's reflection is too high in the frame and where is the girl's reflection? Maybe she's a vampire?

And if the horizon is actually tilted and not just the camera, then the relection of the pendelum thingy should be vertical, not skewed.
Anway, those are just little things. This is still a cool piece.
