Description

Done for a contest. I was working in a tight schedule, so this is very rushed in some places. For that reason I didn't like this picture initially, but it's grown on me after I stared at it for a while ^^;

I did a couple more entries for this particular contest. I'll upload them later this week.

As usually your use of color fascinates me, however I think the one bit that could be tweaked would be the figure's luminescence . To have such a bright source of light behind the figure would result in a dimly lit front...unless there is an alternate front source of light as well.

I see you went for such an effect, but I figure you could push it further...which would mean sacrificing some of the great detail

Wysiwyg: you're correct about the lighting. The problem with most contest entries and commissions is that they don't want a good picture... they want a picture that makes the figure/character look good. I don't think the judge would appreciate not being able to see details. D:
